Fernando Tatis, Jr. Wants MLB To Take Their Potential All Star Invite and Shove It Up Their Ass

Now in case you didn’t know, which many of you probably didn’t because MLB’s marketing department is terrible, Fernando Tatis, Jr. has become one of the very best players in baseball…. as a 20 year old.  What he’s done this year at age 20 is nothing short of insane:

Now, he did miss about 5 weeks with an injury, but his slash line is very much deserving of an all star nod in at least a reserve capacity.

But before we get to him, let’s watch a few videos of him and marvel at his majesty.  He can hit:

He’s one of the very few true 5 tool talents in baseball with the likes of Mookie Betts, Mike Trout, Yoan Moncada, and a small handful of other guys.  A legit Madden create-a-player.  Size, arm, strength, frame, guile, etc.  Kid has every tool and then some.

But he’s also got that swagger that toes the line of being too overzealous and just being exceptionally confident perfectly.  Again, he’s only 20.  20 year olds aren’t established and can’t walk around the diamond like their shit don’t stink.  Tatis Jr. doesn’t give a shit though.  He plays like his nuts were dipped in a vat of icy hot but doesn’t let the moment effect him.

And that’s why I love this quote of his:

Fuck you and your pity all star nod!  Take it and shove it up your ass!!  I mean, for a 20 year old to say this speaks so much to how great he really wants to be.  20 year olds across the country would straight up die to be an MLB all star at that age.  Tatis knows that he got totally snubbed and says “fuck you” with it.  He has that chip on his shoulder that all great players seemingly possess.

So once the second half commences, I expect him to go on a full-blown warpath against MLB pitching.  Maybe even make a run at the MVP race.  Missing those 5 weeks in May will obviously make that an extreme long shot, but it’ll be fun to watch regardless.

PS – never forget.  Out of all the dumb shit the White Sox have done over the years, trading Tatis, Jr. for JAMES FUCKING SHIELDS is going to go down as the most unforgivable.  He legit has Hall of Fame talent.  Absolutely disgusting, and to think my dumbass *almost* fucked this trade up by leaking it early makes me want to puke every single day of my life:
